Liqueur made from the maceration of green melon. Belonging to the Cucurbitaceae family, the green melon has an oval shape, cracked skin & can weigh up to 5 kg. Like other varieties of melons, it contains 90% water, which makes it a very refreshing & low-calorie fruit. Its white flesh is sweet, with hints of honey. The green melon is mainly & commonly consumed in Spain & can be eaten raw, cooked, candied, in juice or in a drink as liqueur.
